Inspired School of Astral Music - Celestrial Stairway, four color screen printed cover. I’m not sure who the artist is and I don’t really know what to make of this music. But the obscurity and ambiguity are appropriate for the droning and pulsing contents. I may be missing the point but I like it. That’s what matters to me when adding something to my collection. It’s beautiful and relaxing.
Philippe Petit Scores Henry: The Iron Man. From Discogs: “Album is intended to be a soundtrack of an imaginary remake of “Eraserhead” (originally by David Lynch) directed by Shinya Tsukamoto (originally “Tetsuo - The Iron Man” director).” After I discovered the Lemon Girl set posted earlier I did some research on Petit. This record is one I really wanted to eventually add to my collection. So I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find it in the Lemon Girl shipment as a freebee. My life doesn’t usually work out that way. A giant thank you to Aagoo Records. You guys made my day!
Philippe Petit - Extraordinary Tales Of A Lemon Girl. Box set of three 45 RPM 12” records, hand-numbered box, three hand-numbered prints. Everything except the front cover and a few stickers seems to be screen printed. An awesome set! Beautifully made by Aagoo Records. This is what was in the giant box. Also in the box was a freebee that I still can’t quite believe I was fortunate enough to get. I’ll post it next.
