My replacement Starring record arrived today (my original copy came chipped and warped) enclosed in this otherwise empty album sleeve for protection. Thank you for the speedy service Northern Spy! I guess all my record needed to pass safely through the US Postal system was a little Vaseline(s).
Starring - ABCDEFG-HIJKLMNOP-QRSTUV-WXYZ. Such a great looking record! Unfortunately it arrived in a crimped LP mailer with a chip and a warp. I’ve contacted Northern Spy records and I’m hoping they’ll send out a replacement. It has been a bad day for my hobby. This is the second damaged new arrival this week.
This is a great record, though. I read one reviewer who was annoyed by the band’s name, the album’s name, the cover art, and the song titles and called the “atrociously spastic psychedelics” a “soupy mess.” I love it.
Please pass the croutons.
